I had a wonderful stay, especially during the winter. the hotel was fairly clean, and I enjoyed the exceptional staff. the location was marvelous, situated in a 400-year-old palace right in the heart of the 12th-century walled fortress. it was conveniently close to restaurants, beautiful isolated dunes, and the center of the fort.

It provided a beautiful setting and added to the overall charm of the guest house. Some of the rooms even offered views of the lake or river, which was a lovely bonus. I appreciated that some rooms had a seating area. It was great to have a comfortable space to relax and read a book.
Personally, I wasn't a fan of the attached bathroom with hot/cold shower facilities. I prefer a separate bathroom, but I understand that others may still find it convenient.
